The event was jointly organized by US Chamber of Commerce and China Channel Limited at Beijing Grand Hyatt on 7 ¨C 8 June. Members of the Virginia missions are from industries of oil products, safety and security, real estate, trade, logistics and telecom.

E-C was invited to attend Australian Jewelry Promotion held at the Palace Hotel in Beijing, which was sponsored by the Australian Embassy. Counsellor Paul Sanda, also representing Austrade, expressed earlier to E-C that they would look into the possibility to entrust E-C to assist in organizing seminars to promote Australian export to China.

In collaboration with Aydoncons of UK, E-C finished one research project for one of the leading tie makers in the world, which is based in Italy. The research covers the necktie interlining market of China ¨C market size, quality and standards, concentration level, main manufacturers and exporter.

E-C closed a project with Sportinox, a US firm specializing in patented binoculars for sports. E-C will file on its behalf for Chinese patent and will look for OEM manufacturers and also market the products.

E-C signed agreement with VIT Corporation, a leading trading corporation in Viet Nam. The latter will import steel gratings solely through E-C.

E-C welcomes Mr. Peter Guinsberg of Aydoncons (UK) to make a site inspection tour to our partner in the printing business. Mr. Guinsberg commented on the facilities and quality of the printer as ˇ°fantasticˇ±. E-C is collaborating with Aydoncons to market printing to EU.

E-C has won a huge project from Siemens AG for technical translations. E-C started the bidding process since March and the contract was sealed after a personal visit to E-C by Jose Linares Ramon, who is in charge of such affairs.

E-C conducted a sourcing project for a Japanese firm to import special Chinese tea ¨C what is generally referred as ˇ°art teaˇ± ¨C which would blossom with stalks and flowers in fresh colors once in water. The special tea is faring good prices in Japan.
